So what are you going to do about it?
Last week I had the pleasure of attending a WACL (Women in Advertising & Communications Leadership ) dinner, thanks to a kind invitation from Claire Sadler. Along with Missy Clements, 7DOTS Client Experience Director, Emma Inston from Careology, and Carola Frisch from Frisch Search.

We heard from the remarkable Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC — the first woman to be appointed Attorney General and now Secretary-General of The Commonwealth (amongst many many other accolades). Her story, her strength, and her relentless commitment to justice and equality were incredibly inspiring.
She spoke about the question her father would often ask her:
“So what are you going to do about it?”
A simple, meaningful challenge, that she said had shaped her extraordinary life’s work, and continues to do so to this day.
Since the evening I have been reflecting a lot - as a CEO, as a human, and as someone who’s passionate about inclusion, from gender equality to neurodiversity:
So what am I going to do about it?
Not just in words, but in action.
In how I use my voice, my role, and my experiences to help build a world where more people feel seen, supported, and able to thrive — in my team, my network, my industry, and life more broadly?
I don’t have all the answers.
But I’m committed to the question and helping be a part of the solution.
Thank you again Claire for the opportunity to be in such brilliant company, and for all the brilliant people I met that were so incredibly welcoming and wonderful to speak with.
You are all an incredible force for good and inspiration.
